These are the addresses this site publishes. They are printed exactly as they were supplied and in the order they were supplied.

What this list is and is not

It is a list of published addresses. That is the complete claim and there is nothing hiding behind it.

• It is not a status page. Nothing here is checked, and there is no checking date because no checking happens.
• It is not ranked. There is no order of preference and no labels, because a label would imply a judgement this site has not made.
• It is not a claim that any of these is official, current or safe. This site has no way to establish any of that.
• It is not a recommendation to use any of them.

Why there is no uptime figure here

A percentage would imply a measurement programme. Sampling interval, timeout policy, what counted as a success, how long the window was, how failures were retried. Without those, the number cannot be interpreted, and publishing it would be decoration rather than information.

There is a second reason that matters more. Reachability over Tor is a property of a path, not of a service. A checking machine has its own routes and its own luck. Yours are different. A result obtained by somebody else is a fact about their attempt and it does not transfer.

So this site checks nothing. That is not modesty and it is not laziness. It is the only position that can be held honestly, and it is set out further on the page about what this site does not do.

Checking a string properly

1. Paste it somewhere you can see it in full rather than reading it inside an address bar that truncates.
2. Compare the last six characters first. Those carry a checksum and a version, so a mangled string usually shows up there.
3. Compare the first six, which is the part the operator generated deliberately.
4. Then work through the middle in blocks rather than reading straight along it.

The alphabet is the letters a to z and the digits 2 to 7, nothing else. A 0, a 1, an 8 or a 9 anywhere in the string means it was damaged somewhere between the source and your screen. Case does not matter.

If none of them opens

That is not a conclusion, it is a symptom, and it has at least five causes. The cheapest ones to rule out are a bad route and a failed lookup, both of which take about a minute and both of which resolve by waiting rather than by hunting.

The most expensive mistake at that moment is to go looking for a replacement address under pressure. That is its own case and it is where most of the real damage in this subject happens.

Which of these should I use?

This site does not say. They are listed without labels, without numbering and without an order of preference, because ranking them would mean claiming something about them that has not been established.

Are these addresses checked regularly?

No. They are not checked at all, ever. This site does not probe onion addresses and carries no checking date anywhere on it.

Will you add more addresses?

Only if they are supplied. This site does not go looking for addresses and does not collect them from search results or public posts.
